Be a part of the future

How was it established

Re-emphasizing the UAE’s values of openness and tolerance

In line with the Abu Dhabi government's strategy to secure effective channels of communication with the residents and provide them with all the information and services that strengthen their sense of belonging, Abu Dhabi Residents Office formed The Residents Majlis (TRM).

TRM aims to enhance Abu Dhabi's position as a destination for global top talent and a hub of economic diversity and sustainable development as part of ADRO’s goal to ensure continuous development of distinguished programmes and initiatives aimed at empowering residents and improving communities’ quality of life in the emirate.

Majlis Objectives

  • Engage with a wider Abu Dhabi resident community
  • Organize regular meetings to discuss specific topics, or to find out what are the areas of development within the community
  • Act as a single facilitator of resident feedback towards policy and regulatory changes
  • Provide the residents with a voice that reaches out to government entities regarding their ideas
  • To meet with government entities and stakeholders to present findings towards policy development
  • Issue an annual report and make it available to the public
